Chalet Oranje
You can park your car down in Lauterbrunnen in the multistorey parking next to the railway station. A train ride in the shadow of the beautiful "Jungfrau" mountain takes you up to the first and only stop before the "Weltcup" skiing village of Wengen, i.e. Wengwald. The train ride just takes 10 minutes. Please inform the conductor that you want to get off the train at Wengwald. A 300 yard up hill path will take you to the one hundred easy stairs that follow. The walk from the stop to the chalet takes 5 to 8 minutes.
The big chalet (80m2) is one of a series of eight chalets that are built wall to wall. The chalets and their grounds are located on a green sunny meadow slope. From there the village of Wengen is very easy to reach. By train it will take you 2 minutes (the easy walk down-hill to the Wengwald stop not included). Walking takes about 15 minutes. If the thought of grocery shopping is just to much then pick up the phone and call "Frischmarkt Trachsel" (Phone: 033/855.14.51.) in Wengen, and have your groceries delivered at the chalet's door.
In winter you can leave your ski equipment at "Central Sport" in Wengen, or store them in the large basement on the chalet grounds in Wengwald.
The chalet itself is modern, cosy and comfortable. With a large lounge/dining area , salon and an open fire place. It is equipped with cable TV, as well as a VCR, DVD, radio and stereo installation. So, when you are tired, you can just sit back and relax! There is an open kitchen adjacent to the lounge/dining area. Equiped with a large refrigerator, cooker/oven and a dish-washer. With three bedrooms (one with a double bed, the second with single beds and the third with a bunk bed) Two bathrooms (one is equipped with a bath and two basins, the second with toilet, basin and shower) so you can be asured of a comfortable stay. The big window on the south side has spectacular mountain views and can be opened to access the private terrace. Right in front of you can see the beautiful "Jungfrau" mountain (13642 ft/ 4158 m) , as well as the "Breithorn" (12409 ft/ 3785 m) at the end of Switzerland's most beautiful valley. Two deck-chairs and six comfortable sitting chairs can give you a perfect tan. If you don't want to sit in the sun, you can pull down the sun blind above the window as far as you want. There is also a wind screen for those rare moments the alpine wind runs through the valley. The sitting chairs are also great for dining at the terrace table just after you have cooked on the barbecue set. The surroundings and the extraordinary view will quickly relax you and help you find total tranquillity.

Chalet Breithorn Residence 3
The Breithorn Résidence is located near the village center of Wengen. It takes a 5 minute walk to the main street where the railway station offers connections to the whole region. The village itself lies in the shadows of the beautiful Jungfrau scenery at an altitude of 4265 ft/1274 m above sea level. There are no cars allowed in the peacefull clean air of Wengen. A taxi will take you to the chalet.
The best place to leave your car is at the Lauterbrunnen station which has a big roofed parking lot at the back. A little mountain train brings you to the village in approximately 14 minutes.
The Breithorn Résidence on the peaceful southern side of the village center offers a panoramic view on the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Breithorn.
The appartment was built in 2001 and offers you a 40 square meter living area and a cosy balcony on the south-west side. You share the garden with the other inhabitants of the building and the terrace at the entrance to the appartment with your neighbours. The appartment itself has a very modern and tasteful interior, a bedroom with double bed, a dining area adjacent to the living area with leather sofas, a radio-CD player, a flatscreen TV (cabel) with DVD-player. The bathroom includes a bath and shower area, a sink, a toilet, a washing and a dry cleaning machine. The modern kitchen is very complete with its dish washer, oven and ceramic cooking plate.
